Meeting List Liaison

Our vision is to provide an accurate, easy to understand meeting list on a timely basis, including all NA meetings in Miami-Dade County.

The South Dade Area Meeting List Liaison is a Narcotics Anonymous member who shall coordinate, produce and distribute an accurate updated meeting list to the fellowship of Narcotics Anonymous in the South Dade Area.

The purpose of the South Dade Area Meeting List Liaison is to compile and update meeting information from NA groups in the South Dade Area, to publish and distribute in the form of a monthly meeting list.

A meeting list is arguably the single most important piece of literature in NA. If still-suffering addicts in the community at large decide to seek help and cannot find a meeting, they may never have another chance to hear the NA message of hope; those coming out of recovery programs may not find a welcoming place to further their recovery. Other subcommittees depend on the accuracy of a meeting list.

That is why it is of utmost importance to have the most updated information in a meeting list. Group Service Representatives (GSRs) are responsible for providing the information that goes in a meeting list, and to re-check it each month to make sure there are no inaccuracies due to human error.

In our meeting list you will also find local and state-wide helpline telephone numbers, as well as South Dade Area NA subcommittees' meeting schedules. Also, we provide regular updates to our South Florida Regional Service Committee which, in turn, updates the information at NA World Services website.
