Translations Subcommittee

The vision of our committee is to have local linguistic minorities in our NA Area be effectively informed about recovery, and our Area and Regional service structure, and to have access to NA service-related materials in their own native language.

Our purpose is to promote unity through a better understanding of recovery, our fellowship, and the way our service structure functions by translating recovery and service-oriented materials as needed

The main task we perform is the translation our Area Service Committee's minutes on a monthly basis. We also translate our ASC's Procedural Guidelines, Subcommittees' and Liaison's Guidelines, and our Website's information.

The translation process requires translators and proofreaders. The former have to be fully proficient in both working languages. Proofreaders do not need to be proficient in English.
